Obey

Christ said His disciples (Christians) were those being taught “to obey everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:18-20).

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2:10).

Christ “gave some as apostles, and some as prophets … for the equipping of the saints (Christians) for the work of service” (Ephesians 4:1-11).

The Bible (all scripture) has lasted through the ages as God’s work through His prophets and Christ’s apostles.

“All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Christians from the first “were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42) to be trained to obey Christ.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

Bible teaching for all ages is strong on Sundays in worship at 10:45 a.m., in Bible classes at 9:30 a.m. and in small groups around the valley and throughout the week.

The aim is life applications and actions in obeying Christ.
