Let God use you for His glory

11 years ago, when I graduated from Highschool if you would have told me I would be standing
up in front of a church congregation preaching every Sunday, I would have laughed and told you were
crazy. You see, though I love the Lord with all my heart, I am completely terrified of public
speaking. I never planned to be a preacher because I didn’t think I could overcome my fears and because
of that, preaching was not part of my plan. However, God obviously had other plans for me. So, with
hard work and submission to the Lord's will and power working within my life, He has given me the
strength and the courage to preach His word so that others can come to know Him. So that ultimately,
He may be glorified. God has plans for your life as well. Will you turn to Him and seek out what He
desires for your life? Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Allow the Lord to change you and work through you, even if it is outside of your plans for life or your comfort zone. You never know who He might reach using your gifts for His glory. May your week be blessed.
